US Army release critical study if Iraq War: 1/18/2019
Long-awaited, long-suppressed, it tells that only Iran won. Study posted in US Army College website
  • WSJ: The two-volume study, written by a team of army officers, was commissioned in 2013 by Gen. Ray Odierno, when he was serving as the Army chief of staff, and a draft was finished by June 2016.
  • the publication of the history had been stymied, as senior officials worried about the study’s impact on the reputation of prominent officers and congressional support for the service. Some lawmakers urged the Army to make the history public as soon as possible.
  • The history, which totals more than 1,300 pages, now is posted on the U.S. Army War College website, along with more than 1,000 declassified documents that were used in the research.
New Pentagon report raises concerns about China's growing military might
 An official stated that although China could easily fire missiles at Taiwan, it doesn’t yet have the military capability to successfully invade the self-governing island, which split from mainland China amid civil war in 1949. The official spoke on condition of anonymity in order to provide more detail on intelligence findings in the report, which was written by the Defense Intelligence Agency.

I've had it happen. I produced a cash management study when I worked for Pensions at Metlife, and my team presented it to an internal client; they in turn ripped off our cover page, slapped on their own and presented it to their boss. The department won an internal quality award for their fine work. Our boss said nothing. I was furious. All these years later, I still resent that spineless cycophant.
